【个人简历】
郭城,副教授,博士生导师,国家药品监督管理局疫苗及生物制品质量监测与评价重点实验室副主任。博士毕业后先后就职于美国环境保护署以及美国哥伦比亚大学医学院感染与免疫研究中心担任研究员和团队负责人等职务,十余年海外留学工作经历。
多年来聚焦病原检测技术、疫苗及生物制品评价的创新与应用:①发明病原捕获测序与高通量血清学检测技术,使其较传统方法通量提升千倍,检测敏感性提高近百倍,技术达到国际领先水平;②应用新技术在临床或自然场景中开展新发传染病研究,检测出多种传统方法难以识别的新型病原体及相关风险因素,如发现新冠病毒可长期存于患者肠道且与疾病严重程度相关、鉴定出有跨宿主传播风险的新型沙粒病毒等;③针对多种后急性感染综合征,分析病原体感染痕迹并鉴定潜在生物标志物,揭示肠道丁酸盐产生菌在疾病进展中的潜在保护作用及其在早期诊疗中的应用潜力。近年来在Cell Host Microbe,Lancet Gastroenterol等杂志发表论文40余篇,被引用4000余次,获批多项与病原检测相关的美国发明专利。相关科研成果曾被时代杂志、纽约日报、财新新闻等20多家新闻媒体报道。
